The reason why i created this petition because i am not accepting this rule, it turns me into the angriest human being, because it creates boredom, lacking the ability for student to call their parents, or anyone else whenever they need to.  Especially 911 when there’s an actual shooter or any other emergencies. Yes students need to do school work without any distractions but they should get have their phones or other devices during break to play games or watch videos but they still should not bully others with their phones or bad stuff like that. I work for the project search internship program that teaches me job skills to secure my future employment. I will need my phone to call my mom if i need to for any reason. It sickens me in the stomach, it makes me furious, and i even ripped my own hair out because of it. This is not okay because students need to learn time management skills to not be on their phones whenever it’s not time and make bullying illegal because students are committing suicide due to bullying so make bullying and school shootings illegal instead of phones. This is very unacceptable and whoever made this decision, please remove this rule. Also, this is not going to make us any safer because we cannot call 911 when there’s a school shooting or any other emergencies.
