Law Enforcement officers are sworn to protect and serve the public. Often that makes them privy to uncomfortable and personal information. We, the People, trust that our Law Enforcement will behave professionally and appropriately in delicate situations. That trust was betrayed in an unfathomable fashion when Cerro Gordo County Deputy Russell Jensen shared an incredibly inapproriate photo of an accident victim on his Snapchat with an unbelievably insensitive and unprofessional caption. This was shared within days and possibly mere hours after this 22 year old's family lost him. This kind of reprehensible behavior should not and cannot be tolerated. The pain that so many people are experiencing over the devestating loss of this young man has been overwhelmingly exacerbated by this action. 

We, the undersigned, demand disciplinary action that includes termination of employment of Russell Jensen as well as a public statement from the Cerro Gordo County Sheriff concerning this atrocious incident.
