We now have over 26,000 signatures on the petition and 5,300 followers on https://www.facebook.com/JusticeForBigFluffy! Yet our cries for justice continue to be ignored. We need to send a loud, clear message to Blankenship, Chief Buie, the Commissioners, and Earl Mathers, County Manager. We will not go away, we will not give up, and we will not stop speaking out for those that cannot speak for themselves! I think they will get the message when thousands of people (including plenty of media) march into their county and demand justice for the innocent animals killed by Blankenship. We will not allow innocent, adoptable animals to continue to be killed while they not only stand by and allow it, but condone it. Blood is on their hands as well. We need to make sure that people are aware that this is what their tax dollars are going to – to pay the salaries of inhumane, ineffective leaders. Please continue to sign and share the petition as well as the Facebook page. Also, please continue calling and emailing. Don’t let them forget for a single day that we love these animals and will continue to fight for them. I will inform every one of the developments for the protest as soon as we have more details.
