Just a little more about my sons story. Jimmy has a heart of gold and he also has a very bad problem. He is a drug addict. He has been this way for nearly half of his life. I fought this battle with addiction hard! I was a RN and worked prn for years so that I could be home when my kids were. We moved our family from an area of town that we thought was getting out of control with drugs. That was the stupidest thing ever. Psychologists, intensive outpatient, psychiatrists, inpatient treatment, juvenile, probation, jail, violation of probation. For the last year, my son has been trying. He has been in a few treatments. They didn't work because he relapsed. HE IS A DRUG ADDICT. I realize that he is serving time in jail because he broke the law. But it was because HE IS A DRUG ADDICT. He needs rehabilitation now. This time is being wasted if he doesn't get better. Please him the best chance of accomplishing this Tennessee Legislature.
