I hope that each of you will share my petition. At this point, my goal is 50,000 signatures. So many people have sent me messages about how the drug epidemic affects them. After I reach out to the Tennessee Legislature, I would love to continue to reach out to every state in America. This is a problem that has to be addressed. Drug addict inmates need to be prepared to reenter society. The way the system is currently set up, they are released and inevitably continue the vicious cycle. Many of you have told me that treatment and education in jail and prison is why they are clean today. Thanks again for your support.
