Hello
I often think what life was like 200 years ago. With Remembrance Day last week and all the news articles about it, I have been reading and viewing some sources about the war of 1812 and the 1800's in general. I found these 3 sources interesting :
1. A special issue of the Bert Miller Nature Club (see pages 2 onwards) about the history of Erie Beach/Waverly Woods area https://bertmillernatureclub.org/wp-content/uploads/sites/15/2018/11/Rambler_Fall2018.pdf
2. This remarkable discovery in the 1980's. Warning parts of this video may have scenes that are disturbing to some people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utoaSeLLbUw&t=7s
3. If you can, get your hands on a book entitled War of Ashes by Richard Feltoe.
How can you help?
