Hello everyone

I am so sad to report that the Friendship Trail which runs along the lake between Bardol and Helena has been severely damaged during a high wind storm surge. The Town of Fort Erie has appealed to the government of Ontario for funding but time will only tell what happens. 

Residents of Fort Erie are urged to attend the Open House in regards to the upcoming changes to the Regions Official Plan. The Open House is tomorrow night (November 14th) from 4:30 to 7 pm at the Leisureplex Banquet Hall, 3 Municipal Centre Drive, Fort Erie.  More information about the Official Plan can be found here https://www.niagararegion.ca/official-plan/default.aspx  It is critical to have input into this plan because if it is done in a meaningful way then it will  take into consideration the impacts of climate change and responsible development.
