- Send your own tweet - here's an idea: Please cancel your 12/5 performance in Saudi Arabia, @JustinBieber @ScooterBraun. Don't perform for a dictator who imprisons women's rights activists, murders journalists & kills Yemeni children. #WTFJustin #JustinDontGo
And don't forget to send an email to Bieber's talent manager, Scooter Braun -- see below for draft
We want the entertainment industry to know that they cannot turn a blind eye to the crimes of dictators. Western businesses and celebrities make big bucks doing business with Saudi Arabia's dictator while the Saudi monarchy bombs civilians in Yemen (using U.S. weapons) and imprisons women's rights activists at home.
It's time for Justin Bieber to cancel this concert. Let's make sure he and his manager feel the pressure.
Sincerely,
Sunjeev, Kate, and the entire Freedom Forward team
Draft email you can send to Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun:

Dear Mr. Braun,
I'm writing to you on behalf of thousands of fans around the world who have asked Justin Bieber to cancel his 12/5 performance at the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021.
Here is the petition signed by fans in all 50 states in the United States, DC, and Puerto Rico, and in over 40 countries around the world:
Justin Bieber, please cancel your December 5th performance in Saudi Arabia. Don’t sell your talent to a Saudi dictator who imprisons women’s rights activists, murders journalists, and kills Yemeni children.
Saudi Arabia’s monarchy is an oppressive regime that jails women’s rights activists, kills Yemeni children, and murdered Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
It’s not just our ask: Khashoggi’s ex-fiancee, Hatice Cengiz, wrote in the Washington Post:
Do not sing for the murderers of my beloved Jamal. Please speak out and condemn his killer, Mohammed bin Salman. Your voice will be heard by millions.
Many fans who signed the petition echoed Hatice's call for the performance to be cancelled:
" Please do not support such an oppressive country that is implicated in the 9/11 attack and the brutal death of a journalist." - Ann from Port Saint, FL
" You have no valid reason to insult those harmed by MBS by performing in Saudi Arabia. There is time to change your mind and do the right thing." - Adair from Belmont, ME
" The money can't be that important to someone as rich as JB. I can't fathom why he would even consider this" - Anthony from Peoria, AZ
" Justin, your performance is a tacit endorsement of murder, autocracy, and suppression of women's rights. Do you really need the money and the ego trip? Don't go. Stay home and be hailed as a hero here!" - Alan from Lafayette, PA
"Be Smart, Do not endanger yourself/ family/Staff etc... for what? Like they can buy your music and you will still have your LIFE and FREEDOM ! God Speed Baby Boy, We old Mama's Love you too, Just Looking out for ya!" - Arly from Poulsbo, WA
There are so many more comments from concerned people all around the world. You can read these in the sent to you on 12/1 by Freedom Forward.
This concert is around the corner. We urge you to cancel immediately so that Justin's platform can be a source of social good, not a part of a dictator's PR campaign.
