Justin Bieber is an international pop superstar, but that doesn’t mean that Saudi Arabia’s dictatorship should be his stage. Sign our petition today and tell Justin Bieber to cancel his 12/5 performance in Saudi Arabia.
On December 5th, Justin Bieber is scheduled to perform at the Formula One Saudi Arabian Grand Prix 2021. Saudi Arabia’s monarchy is an oppressive regime that jails women’s rights activists, kills Yemeni children, and murdered Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
It’s not just our ask: Khashoggi’s ex-fiancee, Hatice Cengiz, wrote in the Washington Post:
Do not sing for the murderers of my beloved Jamal. Please speak out and condemn his killer, Mohammed bin Salman. Your voice will be heard by millions.
And the world urgently needs to hear Bieber’s voice protesting Saudi Arabia’s human rights abuse. In Yemen, every 75 seconds, a child will die because Saudi Arabia is bombing Yemeni civilian communities and blocking humanitarian aid.
Already, more than 85,000 children have been killed in the world’s worst man-made humanitarian disaster -- orchestrated by Saudi Arabia.
Thank you.
