The history of Juneteenth is etched in this nation's history and with more awareness taking place plus recent celebrations popping up all over the country in the past few years, the sanctity of what this holiday means in modern times must be properly preserved and celebrated. The holiday itself along with its colors (red, white, and blue) have been usurped for other purposes and largely to promote an anti-American message. We, the Freedmen, descendants of emancipated persons in this country, ask that the above named companies, create a Juneteenth emoji to not only honor, but to recognize the fact that Juneteenth is now a federal holiday in this country.
