Town Council Moped Listening Session Wednesday August 17 5-6:30PM

The Town Council will hold a listening session for the public to comment on moped issues on Wednesday August 17 from 5-6:30PM at Town Hall.

The future of mopeds on Block Island is being decided right now. Now is the time to express your opinions and suggestions to the Town Council as they negotiate a new agreement with the moped operators or set new licensing standards. #RespectBI will make several brief presentations and we encourage everyone to weigh in with their perspectives and opinions. People will be granted two minutes to speak.

Mopeds are just one aspect of the broader issues of what type of community we want to be. They are one issue that is on the table for decisions right now.
