The Director of Silver Voices will meet the Chair of the Pensions Commission, Baroness Jean Drake, later this month to take up with her the major omissions from her Interim Report, which include frozen pensions, the growing gap between old and new state pensions, and the impact of the tax system on pensions. Genuine pensioner representatives have been excluded from the Commission's deliberations so far, so this is a big breakthrough. We will probably be the only group advocating for frozen pensioners to have this level of access.
