The Government has set up a Pensions Commission  to make recommendations on the future of pensions and retirement savings in the UK. The Commission recently published an Interim Report on which it is seeking comments. Silver Voices has criticised the Report because it does not tackle any of the major anomalies and problems in the state pension system, including frozen pensions. We have asked the Commission to consider the scandal of frozen pensions and to recommend to the Government that they conclude reciprocal agreements with as many countries as possible to stamp out these geographical anomalies.
