HAPPY NEW YEAR! I just got back from a long weekend with my beautiful Wife in New Orleans and being there while OSU fans were reveling in their big win over Bama left me feeling conflicted... On the one hand, it was refreshing to see a Big Ten team beat the SEC's best, especially because the Nittany Lions clearly beat the Buckeyes on the field earlier this season. But, on the other, I couldn't help thinking about what might have been for our boys in Blue & White had Emmert and the NCAA not levied their absurd, incongruous and overreaching sanctions. Suppose they had decided to vacate Penn State's '82 Sugar Bowl victory over Bama, as well as the other National Championship in '86? Why not?? Sandusky coached both of those amazing Defenses. How much harder would each of us be fighting to reinstate THOSE wins than we are for the 112 that have been unfairly stripped?! My resolution for 2015 is to remain iron-strong in my determination to see the Paterno legacy of Success With Honor righteously restored. I hope each of you will resolve to do the same. WE ARE...!!!!!!!
