Thanks so much for your support of the petition calling on retailers to end the sale of the cancer-linked weedkiller, Roundup.

Since the petition started a few days ago there has been a huge amount of pressure from people all over the country and a rising tide of support for ending sales of Roundup. Big retailers like Homebase and B&Q have announced they are reviewing the sale of Roundup in their stores, which is great news - but research has also come to light showing that, shockingly, the weedkiller has been found in popular food products here in the UK.

This is why I'm now calling on the UK Government to follow the lead of countries like Germany and bring in a total ban on the use of glyphosate in the UK - to keep this dangerous substance out of our environment, our food supplies and our bodies.
