This July 4th is not a very happy day for most Americans, because our dumbass SCOTUS just ruled that presidents now have immunity from prosecution for their actions -- so long as they decide that action was an "official act" of the presidency or not. And prosecutors can't bring up a president's motives when disputing it. And our SCOTUS has been caught taking bribes, were influenced by fascist think tanks most of their careers, and heavily support Trump. Meaning presidents can now do what they want so long as they incur favor with SCOTUS, and that basically makes a president a monarch.

The Founding Fathers fought the War for Independence specifically to stop that shit from happening here. That's literally WHY we're supposed to be a free country. But our government betrayed us.

   Declaration of Independence 2.0

   When in the course of human events, the same breed of tyrant that CLEARLY did not learn their lesson the last two fucking times we had to fight them decides to rear its ugly head again, it becomes necessary for The Good People Of The United States of America to band together and establish a better and more just system of government that is clean of the cancerous tyranny, bigotry, and rampant abuse that has metastasized and killed the old one. 

     We The Good People of the United States of America, who are not part of the fascist cult that has taken over the old government, officially break away from it and choose to remove it in the name of the Truths We Declared Self-Evident Over 200 Years Ago: That ALL human beings are created equal, that ALL human beings are assumed to have many Unalienable Rights, not just Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness but also our Basic Needs For Survival, Dignity and Respect. And we assert the right to do this because once again bigoted tyrants need to be reminded that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the Good People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. 
    
    The laundry list of offenses, abuses, and blatantly evil behavior that led to this is so long and extensive that it cannot be repeated in its entirety here. Those are better studied in a history book. Regardless, We The Good Peopole offer the briefest summary of the horrific actions of those who we thought could be our brethren we can manage:   

Banning Abortion -- Dobbs v. Jackson

Legalizing Bribery -- Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission

Giving Presidents Immunity to Prosecution -- Trump v. United States

The Wanton Murder of thousands of innocent Black people by bigoted tyrants who call themselves police officers

The Complete and Utter Subjugation of the People of Ferguson, Missouri when they attempted to band together and retake control of their city

Trillions of Dollars Stolen from the American people by corporations who, working in tandem with fascists and whom some are fascists themselves, corrupted our legal system and compromised the government agencies established to protect us to do it

Allowing corporations to take control of and deprive Americans of affordable Housing, Food, and the Other Necessities of Life, putting them into a position of Poverty and Desperation to more easily fleece and control them

Abject failure to enforce our own laws in all levels of government, from refusal to protect people from basic thefts to allowing the clearance rate of murders to drop to or below 50% on average nationwide

The degradation and, in some cases, complete removal of our most Basic and Sacred rights, in particular the Fourth Amendment right to freedom from search and seizure achieved through mass surveillance of the internet by various government agencies and mass violations of innocent people at airports, and the establishment of rubber stamp courts to give the practices the illusion of legality

 

That list is not nearly exhaustive.

    We The Good People have, however, exhausted Three of the Four Boxes of Liberty from which we have been able to open and find solutions to these terrible problems.

    We tried the soap box. We debated with fascists for years, appealed to the empathy, humanity, compassion, reason, logic and basic common sense we assumed we shared. We have found time and time again, with every deflection, whataboutism, motte-and-bailey defense, every strawman, ad-hominem and tu-quoque fallacy, and most of all with every hateful slur and appeals to racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic and all other bigoted sterotypes, that although they were in the room hearing our words and analyzing them for the next strike, they simply were not there.

    We tried the ballot box. We elected Democrats who have done nothing but appease our abusers and sit around with their collective thumbs up their asses, enabling the fascists by choosing to do nothing to stop them. They had an opportunity to put into place reasonable Justices of the Supreme Court to prevent the fascist endgame from playing out, but they didn't. The Democratic Party had the opportunity to support policies the people wanted and to put forth more popular candidates who could have won the 2016 election and stopped fascists from taking power, but they did not. 

    We tried the jury box. In countless criminal cases brought forth in nearly every state of the union against racist and abusive police, avaricious and calculating corporations, and lawsuits to attempt to protect the Basic Rights We Hold Dear, our attempts at justice were blatantly struck down and dismissed, sometimes to the point where the perpetrators themselves were awarded protection by our own government while We The People were forcibly subjugated and forced into what the fascists call our place.

    There is only one box left. 
    
    Therefore, We The Good People of the United States of America officially Abolish The Legitimacy of the old, corrupted government that has committed all of these crimes and many more. We The Good People declare that the rulings of the corrupted Supreme Court, from Dobbs v. Jackson until now, are hereby and forthwith nullified. We declare that the old government No Longer Holds Any Authority, and we hereby Pledge to Work Together in the name of our Cherished Rights and Principles to build a better one out of the ashes of the old. We The Good People of the United States of America pledge to each other our time, our effort, our lives, our fortunes and our friendship, so that we may still have a Land of Liberty on the Good Earth.
