Let's give the Raystede trustees a break this week.  Just this week.  Let's write to someone else instead.  All of us, all at once, let's write to the Sussex Express!

The Sussex Express ran a story about a Raystede protest by two of our supporters here. It was a while ago now but they wrote about it so you can still comment on it.  Please write to the editor of the Sussex Express, voicing your support for this protest and your shock at Raystede's rude disregard for people's legitimate concerns. Mention Miss Raymonde-Hawkins' compassion for ALL animals - "from the smallest creature crawling to the most dignified of jungle life";  mention the fact that the chairman of the board of trustees, Mr Jonathan Vine-Hall, is a sheep farming collaborator and wannabe breeder; mention that the trustees are acting in contravention of their own governing documents by causing instead of preventing unnecessary suffering to animals. But most important of all, tell them how upset you are that Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare pays for and promotes such misery for farmed animals.
