So it looks like Morrisons may be starting to listen. I have been talking to one of their representative who have informed me that are currently looking into several options regarding plastic straws: one is removing plastic straws from the shelves straight away, another is they are introducing paper straws in June ( I don't yet know if this is as a replacement for or will be sold alongside plastic straws) Although this is a step in the right direction, I am still trying to find out when a decision as talk is cheap and in my opinion this cannot happen quick enough! I will keep you all updated with their reply. In the mean time, please keep sharing on your social media to keep the pressure on Morrisons to make a decision, you could also tweet @Morrisons asking them when they will make a decision on removing all plastic straws from their stores.
