We rallied outside Paducah's Carson Center, where Mitch was reportedly stopping by. Around 30 people showed up to hold posters, chant, and share their story. News outlets were present and we heard stories of those in attendance, some who will be personally affected if McConnell's Better Care Reconciliation Act is passed. In reality, we all will be gravely and negatively affected and it will hit our most vulnerable populations hardest. We came together as a group, chanted, and hopefully he'll hear our voice. Afterwards, the petitions from online and in person were delivered. Change.org electronically connects it all to his office as well, but I pledge to continue to deliver this petition to McConnell or his office as we hit milestones on signatures!
