Amendment to restrict the freedom of fans to sell their tickets heads back to the Lords

Thank you so much for your support so far! We're delighted to say that the House of Commons, the democratically elected wing of Parliament, rejected the House of Lords' unfair amendment to the Consumer Rights Bill by a huge margin of 85 votes. This amendment would have made it extremely difficult for ordinary fans to sell tickets that they'd bought with their own money, and we're relieved that the Commons took a common sense approach to this issue. The next step will see the amendment return to the House of Lords. We now need to convince the Lords to drop their attempts at restricting the free market, so that fans can continue to have the freedom to buy and sell tickets as they wish. Please ask as many of your friends and family to sign this petition as possible, so that we can really send a strong message to the Lords that their amendment is unfair and unworkable.
