Tell FIFA and UEFA: Ban Israel from World Soccer Competitions

Tell FIFA and UEFA: Ban Israel from World Soccer Competitions
The Issue
Join the already 12 nations calling on both the FIFA and UEFA organizations to ban Israel from being allowed to compete in world soccer competitions. Since Oct. 7th, 2023, there has been over 70,000 Palestinians killed and 100's of thousands injured, per the local health ministry, not counting the hundreds of thousands still unaccounted for.
There is a new level of starvation which has created a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, but meanwhile, the Israeli national soccer team is allowed to continue participating in world competitions. The Palestinian Football Association said that it documented the killing of 85 Palestinian athletes, including 55 football players and 30 players in other sports. Gaza's entire 2.2 million population is facing food insecurity and approximately 1.7 million Palestinians have been displaced in Gaza based on UN figures.
In the past, FIFA has banned other countries from competing under similar circumstances. South Africa was banned in 1961 due to growing calls from the anti-apartheid movement to boycott South Africa. FIFA and UEFA banned Yugoslavia from playing in the 1992 European cup and the 1994 World Cup following U.N. sanctions amid the Serb-dominated government’s aggression in the Balkans. Most recently, in February of 2022, FIFA and UEFA banned all Russian clubs and national teams “until further notice” because of its war against Ukraine.
The ongoing onslaught against the Palestinian civilian population by the Israeli government is a humanitarian crisis that must be addressed and challenged through sanctions that would apply pressure on the state to stop its aggression. Please join us in taking a stand for the sake of humanity, end Israel's apartheid regime, and sign your name in support of calling for a FIFA and UEFA ban on Israel.
