As most of us already knew, our fears that the death toll is much higher than is being reported has been confirmed. Not only is the death toll and injury count much, much higher, but here's an excerpt from the article providing devastating information clarifying that this is no self-defense war, but indeed a genocide of the Palestinian people.
"The Gaza ministry statistics do not distinguish between civilians and fighters, but leaked Israeli military intelligence data on casualties until May this year suggested that more than 80% of the dead were civilians."
Any war that has a 4:1 ratio of civilians killed over militants can not be called a war at all. This type of casualty ratio shows that one side is indiscriminately killing anyone in the region they are carrying out operations, without discerning civilians from militants.
We constantly hear that the Health Ministry in Gaza "doesn't distinguish between civilians and fighters," but I ask you this, why isn't it ever written in the media that the Israeli military also doesn't distinguish between fighters and civilians when carrying out bombings and offensive operations in Gaza?
I once again want to show my utter disdain for the hypocrisy of the media, the Israeli and US government, and all others who are quick to try and blame or shed a negative light on the Palestinians when this is a one sided military operation to annihilate the Palestinian people and our culture. This must come to an end! Please!
