Congratulations and thank you all who have taken the time to sign and share the petition with others. I know 1,000 signatures doesn't seem very significant to some,  but in those signatures we've reached several countries around the world. There were also other petitions already calling for the same action as ours and so this petition became more supplemental then the primary ones,  but it still shows added support for the cause. 

We are closer than ever to achieving our end goal as FIFA is currently preparing to hold an emergency meeting to decide the fate of Israel in all its soccer competitions which is exactly what we have been fighting for. We all bore witness to the EuroVision fiasco that took place and I believe that may have played a part in impacting how Israel would be perceived and the reaction FIFA would have to contend with. Keep fighting everyone, hope and success is always within reach and we have almost achieved it! 

As a reward, here is another one of my poems for my sweet Palestine! 

Evil No More

The sun glistening, on a broken land, 

Will rise again, you'll soon understand, 

For when it rains, and floods the lands, 

It feeds the seeds, to make a stand,

And if you listen, to the whistling wind,

It howls the name, of those who sinned,

And even though, the land has thinned, 

Its roots run deep, they're already pinned,

The tears of millions, steadily nourishing,

Feeds their desires, already flourishing, 

And these words of hope, are so encouraging, 

Time to rise up, no longer discouraging, 

I speak of hope, for a people displaced, 

Regardless of horrors, we know they faced,

For the spirit of life, upon which we're graced,

Is one we are given, how sweet the taste, 

A true sense of courage, the will to endure,

To shine bright like the sun, just like before, 

And now we unite, to triumph for sure, 

As we all shout out loud, "evil no more!"
