Dominion Energy is a fossil fuel Goliath. Clumsy and environmentally illiterate, it stomps around like a bully, walking all over communities like yours. All the while, it carefully hides the huge gaps in its armor. EQT Midstream Partners, another energy Goliath, does the same in Virginia.

In the last few weeks, thanks to relentless citizen activism and a great team of environmental lawyers, we found those gaps and we knocked down those Goliaths. At least for now.

On Friday, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission ordered a complete HALT to construction activity along all portions of the Atlantic Coast Pipeline. This came after a federal court vacated two key permits for the massive 600-mile fracked-gas pipeline. And a week before that, the same court and same agency shut down all construction activity for the equally egregious Mountain Valley Pipeline, spearheaded by EQT Midstream Partners.

These are amazing victories all around! And now, it’s time to keep up the pressure. Join us on Tuesday, August 21 at 9:00am for a rally in Richmond and demand the Virginia State Water Control Board permanently protect Virginia from these pipelines. Click here to RSVP.
