Pixiv has made a new set of guidelines set to go into effect on November 10th, imposing restrictions for 'healthy expression'. The UK, US, Australia, Canada, the EU and New Zealand are sadly going to be affected. Basically, it's a ban on any kinds of fictional sexual expression that goes against the laws of those countries. This is why it's so important to advocate for the repeal of obscenity laws AND to stop criminalization of fictional content. 

Expression is not meant to be always pretty or sanitized. It's time government officials and certain anti-pornography groups realized this. Please spread this around, get others to sign this and contact their governments to demand they repeal these regressive laws. Artists and writers don't belong in jail!

If you use Pixiv, here are some things you can do:

-Call and/or write your representatives. Send letters. Make sure you tell them how these laws are impacting you and your community.

-Call and/or email payment processors. They also have a LOT to do with what's going on.

-Go to the anti-censorship campaign carrd and join the Discord! There are resources there that can help you and groups that also are fighting back against bad laws like these.

-Contact Pixiv themselves! Be firm but don't harass them or be rude. Let them know that this is not healthy expression to restrict other forms of it!
