Thank you everyone for your support so far! We now have over 300 signatures on our paper and online petition combined. We've been in Derby city centre every Saturday engaging, hearing people's concerns and meeting people keen to add their names to back #FairChanceDerby

We've heard from parents skipping meals to feed their kids, disabled people affected by cutbacks and worried about rising energy bills for their electric medical devices; we met teachers heartbroken about hungry kids in their classroom, people juggling three jobs to get by; we listened to tenants facing eviction with no affordable housing options and people taking drastic steps like DIY dentistry due to the long waitlist and shortage of NHS dentists in Derby. Children chalked messages of 'share food' and 'end poverty' and 'look after everybody'.  

We'll be at The Spot, St Peters Street (rings) again this Saturday from 2pm - come and get involved, share your concerns and add your name. We also have people collecting signatures at local community centres and upcoming community events.
