Hello wonderful people! So grateful for the almost 600 signatures we’ve gotten so far! 

I have great news to share after a call from Senator Wyden’s office last week, they are actively working on writing up the bill for this!  It will take time, and they are doing their research on how to word it properly so it is best received.

They are also looking for a 911 dispatch center in Oregon, that already has advanced technological capabilities, and they will do a trial run of linking 911 to NICS. This way they can test drive it and show Congress the results of how it works. This is great news!!

I’m sharing for my sweet boy, Matthew. If this system was in place 14 years ago, his father would still be here, and wouldn’t have been able to buy his gun that night. This tragedy would have been prevented, and together we can help prevent other tragedies, and protect our loved ones.
