Whoo hoo!! Senator Wyden’s office staff, who I met with yesterday, LOVED the idea of linking 911 to Background Checks! And bringing help to that person! What a wonderful group of people too, very emphatic to my story, and they think Senator Wyden will love this idea too. His brother took his life, which I did not know…this hits close to home. By now all of us have been affected by suicide. If you have lost a loved one by suicide, my heart goes out to you, and I’m giving you a huge cyber hug! If you have lost someone to gun violence, my heart aches for you and I’m sending you a big hug! 

The office will be getting back with me soon! They also said they are going to put me in contact with Sandy Hook, Giffords, Every Town Search, Brady’s, etc., so we can get the petition and idea linked with them! THAT IS HUGE! I’ve been trying to reach them and having their support will be gold! 

It is still important to get this petition circulated, to bring awareness and have others join us in the good fight, as we grow stronger in getting our communities, schools and loved ones safer! To keep gun out of the hands they do not belong in!
