The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has updated what it calls a “Wall of Receipts” — a flashy chart claiming hundreds of billions in federal budget savings.

But a recent investigation by CBS News found that many of DOGE’s numbers are inaccurate, misleading, or exaggerated — including claims based on unrelated legislation, double-counted savings, and rosy projections with no independent verification.

Americans deserve the truth.

If billions are being saved, we need proof — not PR.

We call on Congress and the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) to commission and publish an independent report on DOGE’s claimed savings. 

Audit the “Wall of Receipts” for accuracy, transparency, and verifiable outcomes!

Government spending oversight must be based on facts, not photo ops.
