Bonny’s Taxi has issued layoff notices to its unionized staff who work as dispatchers out of their Burnaby location. They are planning to outsource these local jobs overseas.

This is a betrayal to the local community and Canadians at a time when we need to support working people in Canada more than ever.

Tell Bonny’s Taxi management that you demand they rescind their layoff notice to their local employees and return in good faith to the bargaining table with the workers’ union, MoveUP, to negotiate a deal that pays workers fairly and keeps jobs in the local community.

If Bonny’s Taxi refuses to support local, Canadian jobs, customers will have to look long and hard at whether they want to give business to an anti-Canadian company moving forward.
