We are almost at 4000 signatures on this petition and still Ballet BC continues to ignore this outpouring of public sentiment telling them it is wrong to give cover to Israel's crimes. The people in Gaza continue to suffer, especially the most vulnerable, the children, but still they also teach us daily lessons on how to resist and survive. Ballet BC's only response to date has been a statement to the media, in which they said in part: "We are honoured to be a part of this festival and to serve as ambassadors for British Columbia and Canada." There is no honour in helping to trample on the human rights and dreams of a whole generation of Palestinians.
