In an earlier post, I mentioned how I had to request a copy of the warning label posted at the top of the AT&T cell tower at the entrance of our neighborhood park in Sunset Park, Tampa because we can’t read it while standing on the ground.
The bird’s eye view label states: “Above this point, you are entering an area where radiofrequency (RF) fields may exceed the FCC general population exposure limits.”
A new study that found high levels of radiation on the ground near the 4G/5G substation towers in South Carolina is calling for eye level, radiation exposure warning labels to make it clear to anyone standing near the wireless facility.
Clearly, we need to lobby our city/state representatives to force these companies to put their warning labels at eye level so we can read them and make informed decisions about how close we want our children to play near this new technology.
Please take a moment to read the study—It’s well worth your time!
