So since the last update we have shot past the 500 signature milestone by some distance. I have had some very positive feedback from many of the emails sent to elected officials. I will be meeting with one of the Councillors within 2 weeks. However we had a really big boost thanks to support from Telford Green Party, Peter Hawkins (Who stood for The Green Party in the recent General Election) and (Drumroll please . . .) The Rt Hon Lucy Allan MP who has signed and shared the petition. If you are involved with a local political party or group and wish to lend your support then please let me know in the comments below.
