The United States vs Donald J Trump is a matter of national interest to the People of the United States. We The People are a divided nation. In the recent past we have seen this division expressed through riots and civil  protest. We must prevent the wanton attacks and destruction that we experienced during the summer of 2020.
Recent polls suggest that 60-70% of the people are NOT confident in our elections. Additionally, that same percentage of the population is NOT confident in the news providers as a source of fair and honest reporting.
Given the volatility of this particular trial I believe an exception should be made to Federal Rule 53 which prevents federal cases from having cameras in the court room.
The American people need to bear witness to any and all evidence presented during this trial. We The People need to hear the trial with our own two ears. We The People need to see the evidence with our own eyes.
We The People need to heal our divided nation and we cannot do that when things of this level of importance are concealed from us behind closed doors. When the only information we receive comes from a media that is distrusted by all parties involved.
We cannot allow our country to devolve into violence. We MUST do everything possible to prevent escalation.
Therefore, we the undersigned demand that the trial of the United States vs Donald J Trump be recorded and televised via live view on CSPAN so that We The People may see the evidence both for, and against, President Donald J. Trump.
This matter should be addressed immediately in an effort to prevent future discord among the People of the United States of America.
