The pandemic has been hard on the entire country, that is understood.  However, the Teaneck Board of Education's decision to break its contract with Camp Shalom again 2 months before the camp season starts, is an untimely, and unreasonable decision that will cost Camp Shalom money to find and obtain more space, refund parents who are unsatisfied with any new space, and that is if the entire camp does not need to be cancelled and parents need to spend time and money on scarce camp spots without early bird specials.

We call upon the Teaneck Board of Education to work with Camp Shalom to provide space for their camp program in line with their contract, and honor their agreements.
