Improve Taylor Swift’s Merch Team

Improve Taylor Swift’s Merch Team
The Issue
It is no surprise that Taylor Swift’s merch team has been falling short lately. There are so many posts by Swifties saying their order arrived damaged or completely broken, with an item missing, etc. If it even arrives at all. Some are convinced their order is lost in the mail. That’s a common occurrence too. What’s worse is the number of stories I’ve heard about people reaching out to customer service, looking for help with their order, only for it to be no help at all. Some people have had to accept refunds because there’s nothing left in stock to replace their damaged or missing item. Sometimes we’re left completely out of the loop regarding our own orders. Either given vague answers or not responded to at all.
But probably the most frustrating detail about the way merch is handled is the wait times. We are having to wait weeks, if not *months*, just for our order to *ship*. I saw a comment once where someone said they had 14 unfulfilled orders. This is not only a ridiculous amount of time, but it’s worrisome. As previously stated, sometimes item run out of stock prior to somebody receiving it in their order. It is not fair for someone to have to wait months to see their items, one arrives damaged and in need of a replacement, only to not be able to get one and is left disappointed and empty-handed. I’ve seen this happen where someone only ordered 1 item and ended up having to accept a refund. They got nothing after all that time.
This is a bothersome issue for those of us who spend our own money to support an artist we love. We invest our time, money, and hope into having these pieces of merch. And we order them with the expectation that we won’t see them for a long item, and keep in our minds that they may arrived broken.
With this petition, the goal is just to get somebody’s attention. Of course, we are not on the merch team. We don’t know what goes into it. So we’re not asking for anything in particular, just for someone to notice and initiate a change that will hopefully work for both sides. These are the primary complaints and now they’re passed on to where someone will hopefully see them.
Disclaimer: we’re placing no blame on Taylor’s shoulders. We know she most likely has no control over this side of merch. This is solely addressed to the people who do have control over these problems. Thank you.
