I am a huge fan of Australian Rules Football, and I'm excited by the potential of seeing the newly established AFL Devils team play their home matches right here in our beautiful city of Hobart. The newly proposed stadium at Mac Point will not only host footy games but also other sports games and concerts, uplifting the entertainment scene in Tasmania.

However, certain opposition to the proposed stadium is stalling this development that could greatly benefit both the local community and the economy in years to come, and it is actually threatening the existence of The Tasmanian Devils AFL Team before they even get a chance to begin. 

The proposed stadium's location at Mac Point is projected to create hundreds of job opportunities during construction and operation while contributing millions to our local economy each year. 

As sports enthusiasts, tourism promotors, and Tasmanians, we need to push for developments like this that align with our progress and potential. Therefore, we are requesting that the minority who are opposed against the stadium consider the positive outcomes that this stadium will bring for our state, and our community.
