Because of the ongoing legal action we have been a little restricted in our updates but here is what we can tell you:

The Golden Bay Grandstand celebrated its 120th birthday in 2019!

The Grandstand is currently still protected by a High Court order preventing its demolition while efforts continue to find a solution to ensure it will reach its 240th birthday (at least).

The Grandstand sat empty for the fourth Golden Bay A&P Show in a row on a fabulously sunny day where a place to sit and watch was really necessary. But the Show must and always does go on and we have included a link to the report about it in the Motueka Guardian - see pages 8 and 9. It was a magnificent day and our congratulations go to the Golden Bay A&P Association for making it so.
