The city of Tarpon Springs has negatively impacted the ability for food trucks to do business within the city limits. On September 22nd, 2020 the city of Tarpon Springs ruled on the food truck ordinance that restricted the ability for food trucks to operate within city limits. This petition seeks to bring to attention to the Tarpon Springs Board of Commissioners to reevaluate and revote on the food truck ordiance. 

Steps we intend to take:

1. Form a food truck committee within the Tarpon Springs Community

2. Develop a new plan for food truck operations within city limits: *Examples of proposed ideas*

            -no food truck operations on the sponge docks other than special events.

            -an annual required fee for food trucks to operate within certain areas(breweries/wineries/etc)

3. Come to an agreement as a committee and the city to expand business operations for food trucks while preserving the culture of the town.
