Petition updateHalt Judge Harding Clarke's proposal to shred Symphysiotomy records after March 20th 2016Department of Health will shred the records

The Department of Health, with the backing of the Data Protection Commissioner, said today that it fully intends to shred all unclaimed symphysiotomy records after Sunday 20th March. The DPC and Minister for Health are not listening to victims of symphysiotomy or to those who support them. Over 2,000 people have signed this petition in a few short days. To shred these documenys is a travesty and there is no legal reason why these documents cannot be returned automatically to applicants. Write to Enda Kenny, Leo Varadkar and the Data Protection if you wish to further protest.
