Hello all 112,526 of you amazing people!

Thank you for signing this petition. As we all know, retailers shouldn't be profiting from the abolition of tampon tax, particularly during the cost of living crisis

Now our petition has gained such an incredible number of signers, we want to take our campaign to the retailers. We need answers. What happened to the £15m the Government made from tampon tax annually? It certainly hasn't gone to customers.

We want to go to retailers one-by-one, so we can shine a spotlight on them so brightly that they cannot ignore us.

Will you help us achieve this?

The first retailer we want to call out is Boots UK. It would be amazing if we could all send the following tweet to Boots and its Senior Vice President, President and Managing Director, Sebastian James, which sends a unified message right to the top:

ACTION: @BootsUK please lower your period prices in line with #TamponTax ending. @BootsSebJ you currently profit from tampon tax, which deepens the cost of living crisis and period poverty. How can you justify this? change.org/droptampontax

You can also send this tweet by clicking this button.

In the meantime, we will write a letter to Sebastian James, asking him to please either prove Boots UK has passed on all the savings from tampon tax to customers or share his action plan for doing so, along with a mechanism for us to check when this has been done.

We will keep you updated with our campaign every step of the way. Thank you so much once again for joining us! We know we can make this change happen.

Many thanks,

Laura
