The Bastrop Monument Relocation Committee is hosting a Virtual Music Festival on Monday, Jan. 18th(MLK Day ’21) at 6:30pm CT, to raise money to safely relocate two historic Confederate Monuments from the Bastrop County Courthouse Lawn, in Bastrop, TX

The “Move Forward Virtual Music Fest,” will feature live performances by musical artists:

Grammy Nominated Artist - Ruthie Foster
National Americana Singer/Songwriter - David Ramirez
Austin, Texas-Based folk musician - Eliza Gilkyson
Soul Singer and Writer - Ray Prim
Soul Singer - Robert A. Kraft
Folk Singer, Songwriter and Native Texan - James McMurtry
Independent singer/songwriter/producer Rachael Sage and others, with special guest appearances from:

13-time Grammy Award Winners and Texas Native Band,
“The Chicks"

Bestselling Author Ryan Holiday; and featuring the World Premier Music Video Music Video by former American Idol producer and Bastrop Native Ron DeShay.”

The committee has raised $29,727.82 and our goal is to wipe out the note on during the fundraising with a matching donor willing to contribute up to $10,000.
