Take the relentless abuse of women & children via fake petitions off change.org NOW!!!
The issue
Murdoch press ugliness and agendas do not belong on change.org
The “Put the children first” petition currently on change.org is being highly promoted by the gutter Murdoch newspapers. It’s a new low using children in your grubby compaign for click baits and profits. Just when we thought Murdoch and his (toilet) papers couldn’t get any lower they, under the guise of “putting children first” use their supposed concern for little ones, to continue its horrendous harassment of women and harming all children in the process. Hang your heads in shame.
Petitions that inspire division and hate and are simply fodder for greedy barbaric media tycoons and their muppets do not belong on change.org
In the latest vile, ugly petition Meghan Markle was their pawn.
One petition has been removed and the second one quickly thereafter emerged on change.org titled “Putting children first” and miraculously promoted within just minutes by all the low life (toilet) tabloid newspapers. It is just as misleading, defamatory, ugly and misogynistic a petition.
The abuse of women and their children by the gutter tabloid press may be the norm in the UK but it not accepted in Australia nor by any decent human being across the globe.
The recent petition is not only just as defamatory. Petitions set up by the Murdoch media, their mules and their bots “For the safety of children” are beneath contempt in using the once untouchable realm of child safety to justify their attack on a mother and her children.
WE REPEAT, IT DOES NOT BELONG ON CHANGE. ORG
Regardless of your views on a person, no one deserves relentless slander stalking them from country to country as recent instigators of petitions and their ignorant supporters backed by trash tabloids and their bots have shown.
Australia doesn’t need this unAustralian bullshit and certainly not from the faceless gutless media bullies in the UK.
We are over women being hounded and attacked on social media and it most certainly DOES NOT BELONG ON CHANGE. ORG
We are over silently watching the low life tabloid media persistently misrepresenting women, fabricating narratives that perpetuate hatred and endanger lives. This issue is personal for all women, our daughters, our mothers, sisters and men who love and respect women.
We are calling on you to join us in demanding that change.org takes these bullshit of a petitions off its site.
And here is what AI suggested I wrote in case you require less passion and more data …..
Women worldwide are consistently portrayed in a negative light, with stereotypes and myths sensationalized to sell headlines. According to a report from Global Media Monitoring Project, only 24% of news subjects across the world are women, and too often their stories are overshadowed by misleading information that reinforces gender biases. This disinformation not only affects public perception but also enables a culture of misogyny and violence.
Just last year, reports from the Pew Research Center showed that 74% of women reported experiencing online harassment. Much of this hostility is fueled by skewed media coverage which distorts public views, leading to tangible harm in workplaces, in homes, and on the streets.
We need media accountability. We demand that media outlets conduct rigorous fact-checking, employ diverse voices in their editorial teams, and provide balanced coverage that accurately represents women’s contributions and experiences. This includes challenging harmful narratives and eliminating sexist assumptions in reporting.
Together, we can urge media regulatory bodies and press councils to enforce stricter guidelines on content that perpetuates gender bias and misinformation. By allocating resources to train journalists in gender-sensitive reporting, we can start changing the narrative.
Let’s stop the media from leading the charge in hate against women. Sign this petition, and let’s hold them accountable. It’s time for change, and it starts with responsible journalism that respects all individuals. Raise your voice, and make a stand for women everywhere.
