As NZers, as humans, we cannot stand by any longer and watch  the catastrophic suffering and trauma being wrought on the Palestinian people in Gaza by the Israeli government and the IDF in Gaza.  

As described recently by the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross:  'it is beyond  any acceptable legal, moral and humane standard.  The level of destruction, the level of suffering , the fact that we are watching a people being entirely stripped of its collective dignity, should really shock our collective conscience.' 

The time for words is long past.

We call on, we demand, the NZ government take immediate meaningful action against Israel to allow aid into Gaza and to implement a ceasefire.
