Aegean (also known as EGE) is burning. Forest fires have been ravaging this beautiful part of our planet, destroying its rich biodiversity and emblematic landscapes. The vibrant life in Aegean is ceasing, and yet it seems like the world is looking away. Shockingly, this region has seen an approximately 40% increase in forest fires over the last decade, according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature. This makes immediate action imperative for the survival of the region's biodiversity. We cannot simply stand by and watch as our precious environment burns away.
