I am writing this petition with a heavy heart and a sense of responsibility towards our beloved country, Romania. Nicusor Dan, who currently holds the position of president, has done little to improve our nation's welfare. Instead, he has contributed to increasing our already burdensome taxes without providing any significant return in terms of development or economic growth.

For many Romanians, the past 6 months have been marked by increased financial hardship. Under Nicusor Dan's leadership, we've witnessed a significant rise in taxes and they cut our pension,which has only served to further impoverish the average citizen. Instead of bringing prosperity and progress, his policies have placed an undue burden on working families, students, and the elderly. It's important to understand that these tax hikes have not been accompanied by improvements in public services or infrastructure, leaving us questioning where our money is being spent.

Research and reports indicate that Romania's economy is not flourishing as it should be. According to Eurostat, our country's GDP growth has lagged behind other EU nations, and the continuous increase in fiscal burdens does not help in fostering a thriving business environment. While governments globally find ways to support their economies, our leadership seems detached from the struggles of its people.

The promise of better governance and economic reform that was so enticing during Nicusor Dan’s campaign has not translated into action. Instead, we see stagnation and a lack of vision in steering Romania towards a brighter future. It's high time for change.

We need a leader who listens, understands, and acts in the best interest of the citizens. A leader whose policies resonate with the average Romanian and whose actions reflect the promises made. Let us unite in demanding accountability from those in power and strive for a leadership change that will prioritize the well-being and prosperity of all Romanians.
