They won't give up. Net neutrality, rights to censor, opportunities to manipulate users, privileges to define acceptable use, data mine, format us as they want us to be, ad-stuff our minds and use every other mechanism of control they can scheme up in their self-interested brains. The control of our social media ('public commons') is still the ambition of the few wealthy and powerful owners. They won't give up.

Our petition is one place to start pushing back. Not very successful as yet. But I am hoping that is simply because people have yet to realize how important it is that the internet be in the hands of the people, not in the control of a few people.  It will take time.  I hope you can help by sharing and passing this petition and message along to your friends by email, social media and other any other means you have.  Viral is our goal, of course.
