Take away MLB and MLBPA rights away from San Diego Studios !!

The Issue

Over the years, people have given endless time and money to San Diego Studio to play a yearly released franchise called MLB The Show. For the last 8–9 years, they have rarely improved the game, neglected game modes, and recently shown they are not afraid to force online players into paying real money if they want to compete in online modes.

This is a message to Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association: Is that really what you want to be associated with—a lazy and money-hungry company that neglects its community?

There are plenty of development teams that have proven they care about their games’ well-being, such as 2K Sports and EA Sports, as well as up-and-coming developers familiar with the sport of baseball. They just need the correct assets to get started. For example, Konami is the creator of a promising-looking game called Professional Baseball Spirits.

Please consider changing the trajectory of baseball video games. The current state of MLB simulation video games is bad for the brand, the teams involved, and the sport of baseball.
