In December, 2017, the Morgan Motel (at 72nd and Pacific Avenue) was closed due to meth contamination. The Motel was closed once before in 2017 after 171 calls for police service were logged in a 14 month span. The Motel is known by Police for prostitution, drug use, and violence. 

Despite all this, the City of Tacoma is preparing to re-issue the business license for the Morgan, allowing it to re-open AGAIN. Crime, theft and prostitution are all DOWN since the Motel closed - we need to tell the City Council, Mayor and City Manager to keep it closed!
