Not many months ago, my favorite speedy food restaraunt, Taco Bell, introduced us to the Daredevil Loaded Grillers and they were an immediate hit from people I have spoken with about them. They came in three different flavors. Chipotle, Habanero and my personal favorite, Ghost Pepper. And they were a dollar to boot! You could order one of their fine meals and grab an extra Loaded Griller or two in case you felt gluttonous. Or, just order a bagful of Grillers and call it a night. These bad boys were a hit! Finally, something on Taco Bell's menu that not only tasted great and was very affordable, it also gave us spicy food aficionados something that could get a little sweat over the top of the brow! But this week, disturbingly, Taco Bell decided to discontinue the Loaded Griller! You could imagine the shock on my face as I pulled into the drive-thru with a few dollars in change and was told that there WOULD BE NO MORE GRILLERS! I had to finally had enough. Too many times have I gotten to know and love a menu item and then have it disappear to never be seen again. And this is why we must stand up and fight for our food! Say NO MORE to the companies that tug on our heartstrings with new, delicious and very affordable fare! Bring back the Loaded Grillers, Taco Bell. Or else, I might not be back myself.
